Oracle is a line of folk guitars, both acoustic and acoustic-electric and it is updated with six new models for 2012. The name Oracle stems from ancient Greece, where Oracles served as mediums in communication with gods. Also, Oracles used to tell future to common people. Just the same, Luna`s Oracle series looks into the future of construction and ornamentation of acoustic guitars. One of the novelties comes in shape of Oracle Rose, a non-cutaway folk guitar with the body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce top. The top is flat and features a magnificent rose inlay which stretches from around the sound hole to the bottom of the body on the treble side. This model comes in natural color with gloss finish. The bridge is made of ebony and equipped with Oracle series-styled shape, black pins and black saddle. The amplification is taken care of through B-band pickup and preamp with a side-mounted control panel. The panel features three-band equalizer, volume knob, phase button switch and tuner. The neck is made of mahogany and connected to the body at the 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and moon phase inlays. 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" string nut and chrome plated hardware complete the specs for Oracle Rose.
