000 size is an intermediate-sized body contour and it comes in two main variations. 24-9/10" scaled guitars are called auditorium, while the 25-2/5" scaled models are named orchestra models. 000-28, with it`s 25" scale is closer to the auditorium badge than orchestra. It is situated within the standard series of Martin catalog and it is made of rosewood, spruce, hardwood and ebony. All tone woods are solid on this model. rosewood is used for the back and side panels of the body and it`s complemented with spruce sound board on the top. Hardwood is used for the low profile neck, only. Ebony has a double role on this one, it is used for both the belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard.
