The Backpacker series has been with us for a quarter of a century and has, in that time, brought the gift of music to legions of musicians. 2017 catalog brings us the 25th Anniversary model, a special model available only until the end of the year. Backpacker 25th Anniversary costs $399 and sports the classic Backpacker body, 15th fret neck joint, minimalist styling, and black hardware. Natural (with raw finish and no binding) is the only color option available. Core construction features include sapele back & sides (laminated), Sitka spruce top (laminated, no rosette, no binding), select hardwood neck (Backpacker series profile), and 15-fret richlite fingerboard (1.6875" corian nut, 24" Backpacker scale, dot inlays). Other notable features include the special Backpacker bracing (made of spruce), black tuners, and richlite bridge.
