D-18 RG is a very special guitar; it is a hand-made and custom-designed model made as a tribute to the Lakota Sioux Native American Tribe. The guitar will be donated to Native American Heritage Association, a charitable organization which strives to improve the quality of living of people of Crow Creek and Pine Ridge Reservations in South Dakota. D-18 RG is a standard D-18 guitar, enhanced with a custom-designed graphic (by Robert F. Goetzl) on the top. Other dedicated details include an arrowhead inlay on the headstock, as well as four arrows inlay on the fingerboard (which symbolizes four directions sacred to the Lakota people). Main construction features include genuine mahogany back & sides, Sitka spruce top, genuine mahogany neck (modified low oval profile), and ebony fingerboard & bridge.
