Golden Era Marquis Series revives the spirit of the golden age of the Martin Guitars which was in the years before the World War II. The series is equipped with solid adirondack top and braces, pre-war appointments, gloss finish and hand fitted dovetail joints. D-28 has a dreadnought shaped body with solid adirondack spruce top and rosewood back and sides with grained ivoroid binding and glossy top. This model is offered in two color options: the natural and sunburst. Ebony made bridge has a matching fingerboard. The neck on this model is made of hardwood and has a modified v shape, one of the four standard Martin contours. The ebony fingerboard features 20 frets and dot inlays. D-28 also features 16" fingerboard radius, 1.75" nut width and 25-1/2" scale. The list price is set at $5299.
