HD-28 VS is a non-cutaway dreadnought model placed in Vintage Series of the Martin Guitars catalog. The series is oriented towards the recreation of historically accurate features of some legendary pre war models. Traits of the series also include: solid tonewoods, polished gloss finishes nad hand fitted dovetail joints. HD-38 VS has a body made of solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. Natural gloss finish on this flat-top model is complemented with ivoroid binding. The bridge is made of ebony with black pins. The neck is made of solid hardwood and has a V shape and dovetail joint set at 14th fret. Ebony fingerboard has 20 frets, dot inlays, 1.75" wide bone nut and 16" radius. The list price for this model is set at $4,549.
