Authentic Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
D28 Museum Edition 1941 is a model from the distinguished Authentic series made by Martin Guitars. This series is completely oriented towards the recreation of the feel and tone of the prewar acoustic guitars. In addition, one of the most important goals is faithful recreation of the prewar styling and aesthetics. Body of this model is full-sized dreadnought with non-cutaway design. It is made of top shelf solid mahogany and Sitka spruce. Traditional prewar binding made of Sitka spruce is applied beneath the sound board. Black binding, tortoise shell pickguard, triple circle rosette and nickel-plated hardware decorate D18, giving it strong vintage vibe. Mahogany-made neck is equipped with the period-correct barrel contour on the back side. On top of the neck 20-fret ebony fingerboard is installed.
