HD-28VE is a dreadnought-shaped model from the Vintage series made by Martin Guitars. This series is in charge of the models which pay tribute to the prewar period and acoustic guitars built then. In order to achieve maximum visual and sonic resemblance, Martin installs many of the period correct appointments on models from this series. HD-28VE comes with non-cutaway body made of solid rosewood back and sides with solid spruce sound board on top. Beautiful grain of the wood is left visible and it`s only covered with clear gloss and satin finish. Neck is made of mahogany and it comes with Martin`s standard oval contour in the back. It`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony. Bridge is also made of ebony.
