D-35E is a Standard series dreadnought, one of several available in 2017 lineup. It is an acoustic-electric model, but without a cutaway (which has become the industry standard for acoustic-electric steel-stringers). Players have a choice between two electronics options - Fishman`s Aura VT Enhance or LR Baggs Anthem. D-35E offers a non-cutaway dreadnought body (w/standard Martin measurements), 14th fret dovetail joint, glued-in neck (w/25-2/5" scale), chrome hardware, and classic Martin styling. Core construction features include East Indian rosewood back & sides (solid), solid Sitka spruce soundboard (white binding, black pickguard), select hardwood neck (modified low oval profile), and 20-fret ebony fingerboard (dot inlays, white binding, 1.75" bone nut). Solid ebony bridge, enclosed chrome tuners, and regular X bracing (made of spruce) complete this outstanding dread.
