C.F. Martin`s Standard series is one of the most revered and most respected acoustic guitar series on the market, and it just got a complete overhaul for 2018. The core acoustic and acoustic-electric models received a total makeover, to better suit the needs of a contemporary player while retaining all the fine things which make a Martin Standard. M-36 (2018) comes in with a non-cutaway 0000 (M) body, a standard 14th fret dovetail joint, 25-2/5" scale, top-shelf hardware, and classic/modern Martin styling. Natural (w/gloss finish, chrome hardware, faux tortoise pickguard) is the only available color option. Other notable features include East Indian rosewood back/sides, Sitka spruce top, select hardwood neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, and enclosed tuners.
