Recording King is a brand with some of the finest vintage guitars. Their golden age-inspired guitars offer tremendous quality for money invested. For 2012, Recording King unveiled three acoustics, of which all were introduced at NAMM earlier this year and placed within the Jubilee series. RAJ-116 is a slope-shoulder non-cutaway acoustic guitar with a body made of mahogany back and sides and solid spruce top. The top of this model is bound in several layers of ivoroid binding and features a firestripe pickguard. Sound hole is adorned with a discreet and elegant rosette. The neck is made of mahogany and features a C contour with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard upon this neck is made of rosewood and equipped with 20 frets, dot position inlays and 1-11/16" wide bone nut. The bridge is also made of rosewood and sports a belly shape with white plastic string pins and bone saddle. The electronics are not featured on RAJ-116, it is fully acoustic. Other features include: 25-2/5" scale, vintage styled tuners and X pattern bracing.
