Recording King is one of the best brands of vintage acoustic guitars on American market. Though the bulk of the catalog is made up of square and slope shoulder dreadnought guitars, other types such as 000, OM, 00, 0, 12-Fret 000 and parlor entries also play a prominent role. Recently, RK has started adding jumbo-shaped models to the lineup. RJ-06 is one of only two currently active jumbo models. It is an affordable guitar with completely acoustic construction and vintage design. Its back and sides are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Vintage pickguard, triple rosette and a fixed rosewood bridge grace the top. Also, it is bound in tortoise shell binding. Set mahogany neck sports the modern C profile in the back and a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
