RR-50 VS is one of two wooden resonators made by Recording King. These two models form a series known as Resonators Wood Body.RR-50 is the entry model, while the RR-60 VS is the top one. RR-50 comes with a regular non-cutaway body made of mahogany. Back, sides and top are made of it. Top panel is bound in ivoroid binding and it`s equipped with two small offset sound holes with metal covers over them. main feature of the doby top is steel resonator cone, which contains the bridge section. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it sports a standard rounded contour. Upon this neck, Recording King installs a 19-fret fingerboard made of mahogany. Hardware installed on this model is plated in nickel.
