RR-50-VS Recording King Professional Wood Body Resonator is one of only two currently available Professional range resonator guitars. It is a roundneck model, with a wooden body, Recording King cone made of hand-spun aluminum, 12th fret neck joint, and two rounded soundhole screens. It sells for around $750, which puts it within the reach of a vast majority of players. The color palette is limited to Vintage Sunburst (satin finish, creme binding around the body and neck, nickel-plated hardware). Other notable features include a rounded mahogany neck (12th fret dovetail joint, gloss finish), 19-fret fingerboard made of ebony (Mother-of-Pearl dot position inlays, 1-11/16" wide bone nut), spider bridge w/saddle made of maple (w/ebony tip), and Grover open-back tuning machines.
