Maccaferri are very special guitars which originate from the beginning of 20th century. First, they were developed for the jazz and had steel strings. But, today, Rodriguez makes them with nylon strings and has an entire series dedicated to Maccaferri guitars. B Maccaferri Cutaway is a single-cut guitar made of walnut, spruce, mahogany and rosewood. Walnut and spruce comprise the body with walnut taking the back an side panels, while spruce sits on the top. Sound board is slightly arched and equipped with Indian rosewood binding. Sound hole is oval and has a classical rosette around it. Natural color of the wood is the only one for this model and it comes with gloss finish. Bridge is made of rosewood and it`s movable. Mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
