Maccaferri classical guitars are the class of it`s own among nylon stringers and are often used for jazz and gypsy styles besides the classic music. Construction-wise, these models have wider bodies and different bridges. Sound holes are also differently shaped on Maccaferri guitars. Rodriguez has an entire series dedicated solely to Maccaferris. C India Maccaferri Cutaway comes with a single cut body made of laminated rosewood back and side panels and spruce sound board on top. Top panel is equipped with Indian rosewood binding and classical rosette. Bridge section differs from the regular classical and it features a thinner, wider and taller bridge with a decorative trapezoid tailpiece in the back. This bridge is made of rosewood. Neck on this Maccaferri is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
