In Blueridge catalog BG mark in Contemporary series designates the slope-shoulder dreadnought models and there are currently five of them. BG-140 belongs to the upper part of this series and it`s non-cutaway body is made of mahogany backa nd sides with spruce sound board. This body is paired with a one-piece mahogany neck, through a 14th fret dovetail joint. This neck is equipped with a standard low profile contour in the back and it`s finished in gloss. Body, on the other hand is painted in sunburst color scheme and features satin finish. Bridge section on this model is made of rosewood and it sports a regular belly-contoured bridge with bone saddle. Fingerboard is also made o frosewood and it comes with 20 frets and 1-11/16" wide bone nut.
