BG-180RW is a model from the Contemporary series made by Blueridge Guitars. Blueridge operates within the Saga Music and it is one of many sub-brands owned by Saga. Since Blueridge is dedicated solely to acoustic guitars and vintage styling is predominant, strategy for the Contemporary series is to give a little bit more modern approach along with reasonable pricing. Body of this dread is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. All of the standard BG section decorative features are also installed on this six-stringer. This one is fully acoustic, as Blueridge and Saga opted to make this one completely free of pickups, cables and preamps. Bridge and fingerboard are made of rosewood and neck is made of a single piece of mahogany.
