BR-140 is a fully acoustic dreadnought from the Historic series made by Blueridge Guitars. Blueridge is a sub-brand of the Saga Music and it is completely oriented towards the acoustic guitar production. All of the models are steel-stringed acoustics with either six or twelve strings. This particular model comes with six strings and non-cutaway design. Body is made of mahogany and spruce, with the arrangement being a classic one, mahogany on the sides and in the back, with spruce sound board on top. It is one of the most popular combos, mainly due to the quality of tone it produces. Bridge is made of rosewood, as is the fingerboard, this diversifies the tone of the guitar, and mahogany neck brings it back to mahogany-dominated spheres. Hardware is plated in nickel.
