BR-160CE comes from the ranks of the Historic series, a line made in honor of the prewar acoustic guitars. Dreadnoughts and 000 guitars dominate the series` roster and this one is an acoustic-electric dread with single cut design. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Top is flat and bound in white binding. Besides that, it also features tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette around the sound hole. Construction-wise, this body is equipped with a dovetail joint for the neck. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body at the regular 14th fret. On top of the neck, Blueridge installs a 20-fret fingerboard with abalone inlays and 1.875" wide bone nut. Bridge is made of rosewood.
