BR-70 is a model from the Contemporary series made by Blueridge Guitars. It comes with a price tag set at $895 and it is a non-cutaway guitar with no electronics. This model is an acoustic variant of the BR-70CE and these two share the majority of the specs. Body of BR-70 is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board. Abalone makes very prominent appearance on this model, as well. One layer of binding, single circle of the triple circle rosette, inlays on a 20-fret fingerboard and inlays on vintage-style headstock are made of it. Bridge is made of rosewood to match the fingerboard and the neck is traditionally made of a single piece of mahogany. Tuning machines on the headstock are plated in gold.
