BR-163A is one of the models from the Historic Craftsman series and it comes as an orchestra model made with non-cutaway body. Rosewood and spruce are used for the body of this model and the arrangement is as follows: rosewood is on the sides and in the back, while the spruce is on the top as the sound board. Along with mahogany and maple, rosewood is one of the most popular tone woods for the acoustic guitars. Top panel is decorated with black and white binding, tortoise shell pickguard and double circle rosette. Neck with which it`s paired is made of a single piece of mahogany and it features a low profile contour in the back. Bridge and fingerboard are mad eof rosewood and the hardware is plated in chrome.
