Contemporary series from Blueridge is dedicated to the players who like their steel-stringers with a bit of a modern touch, not fully vintage styled. The model to open the series is BR-63 is a 000-sized guitar with non-cutaway body which is made of rosewood back and side panels with spruce sound board on top. Top panel on this model is equipped with white binding, black plastic pickguard and double circle rosette around the sound hole. Natural color of the wood is the only color scheme assigned to this model and it comes finished in high gloss lacquer. Bridge section is equipped with a regular belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. Mahogany neck is made of a single piece of wood and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
