BR-72 belongs to the Contemporary series of the Blueridge brand. Blueridge is Saga`s sub-brand which is dedicated solely to the vintage-styled acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Contemporary series is a line of guitars with slightly less vintage styling than other Blueridge guitars. BR-72 is a 000 guitar with a price tag set at $895, which practically means laminated construction and some other budget oriented features. Rosewood is used for the back and side panels of the body and spruce is on the top as the sound board. Natural color of the wood is the only one assigned to this model and it comes finished in gloss. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a regular belly-contoured bridge made of rosewood. One-piece mahogany neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
