BR-42 is a non-cutaway 000 and it comes made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board. This tone wood combo is one of the most popular ones in the history of steel-stringed guitars. Price tag of $550 dictates the use of laminated woods in construction, but thanks to awesome playability and high quality construction, this model sounds great. Bridge is made of rosewood is equipped with belly contour and bone saddle. Mahogany-made neck is topped with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
