RD-40 Squareneck is situated within the Traditional series made by Regal Dobro Guitars. There`s only two models in this series, both are named RD-40, with one having rounded and one having square neck. This particular model is made with the rounded neck. Neck is made of mahogany and it`s set-in. This neck is topped with a 19-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Frets are marked with dot inlays. Body of this spider-shaped resonator is made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is used for the back and sides, while the top is made of spruce. This combo is one of the most popular for steel-stringed acoustic guitars. Top panel is equipped with a resonator cone, which is topped with the bridge and trapezoid tailpiece.
