RD-40 Squareneck is one of two models situated within the Traditional series made by Regal Dobro Guitars. Dobro is a concept that originates from the first half of 20th century as an alternative to traditional steel-stringed acoustics. This concept quickly rose to fame and is still produced today by selected brands. One of them is Regal Dobro Guitars and their resonators are some of the finest in their price category. RD-40 Squareneck features a non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board. Ivoroid binding around the top contrasts the black, cherry, natural, vintage and sunburst color schemes, of which all come with high gloss finish. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it features a set-in joint. Square contoured neck is topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.
