GS-K 12 is a model from the Koa series of acoustic guitars made by Taylor Guitars. It is one of nine models in this series and one of only two twelve-stringers. This twelve-stringer is based on GS-K model and it shares the same basic list of specs. GS-K 12 comes with a grand symphony body with non-cutaway design. Construction-wise, it features a dovetail neck joint and fully acoustic construction, with no electronics installed. Though, Taylor Guitars offer optional Taylor Expression system. Hardware applied on this model is plated in gold. Back and side panels are made of koa, while the top is made of spruce. Bridge and fingerboard are made of ebony and fingerboard features 20 frets, dot inlays, 15" radius and 1.75" wide TUSQ nut. Neck is made of mahogany.
