AG-200 EQ is the latest acoustic guitar from Traveler Guitars. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body made of mahogany back and sides and a solid top made of spruce. This remarkable steel-stringer has a full 25-1/2" long scale and weighs just 3lbs. Overall length is 32-1/2" scale, while the body is 12-1/2" wide. Traveler claims that AG-200 EQ sounds as strong as every other full-sized dreadnought in this price class. There`s only one color option available for this model, Black with gloss finish and chrome-plated hardware. Traditionally, Traveler models have no headstocks and AG-200 EQ is no exception. Instead of the classic headstock with standard tuners, Traveler models come with strings mounted in reverse. Thus, the tuners are on the tail, or beneath the body. Fixed wooden bridge is fit with a concealed piezo pickup and on the side there`s a preamp. Neck is made of mahogany, as well and it is attached to the body at the 15th fret (14 is the standard). On it`s top, there`s an ebonized rosewood fingerboard installed on the top (20 medium-sized frets with pearl dot inlays).
