The RSD135-D is a 135th-anniversary model, based on 1937 #5244/#5246 Solo dreadnoughts. The series will only have 135 instruments which will be sold throughout 2018 (the year of 135th Washburn anniversary). Some of the highlight features include all-solid construction, scalloped-X "Moonwood" European spruce bracing, Washburn`s "smile" bridge, vintage hardware, and vintage styling. Natural (w/gloss finish, tortoiseshell pickguard, aged binding around body & neck)is the only available color option. The RSD135-D is available only through selected retailers and the selling price is in the $2,000 region. Other notable features include solid mahogany back & sides, solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck (14th fret dovetail joint), 20-fret ebony fingerboard (1.75" bone nut, 25.5" scale, dot inlays), ebony bridge, and Graphtech tuners.
