VSP Gerry is an acoustic-electric guitar made by Wilson Brothers and it is situated within their acoustic guitar series. This heavily decorated guitar comes with a concert shaped body with single cutaway design. It also features single cutaway design and elaborate electronics department. Electronics include piezo pickup/preamp combo. Controls are placed upon the sound board and have a form similar to the ones found on electric guitars. Volume and tone knobs are featured instead of a side-mounted preamp. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge section on this model is made up of a regular shaped ebony bridge. Maple is the wood of choice for the neck on VSP Gerry and it is topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
