Named after the Spanish city of the same name, Cadiz series offers a small line of classical and flamenco guitars. Alvarez`s aim with Cadiz models was to create affordable, engaging nylon-stringers which would inspire young players to pick up a classical/flamenco guitar. Cadiz six-stringers come with a bit taller and narrower bodies, making them easier to handle. CC7 is the opening, basic model. It comes with a non-cutaway body, fully acoustic construction, and traditional styling. Main features include dark walnut back & sides, solid A+ grade Sitka spruce top, 12th fret Spanish heel joint, and stock hardware. CC7 is available only in natural color, with gloss finish, chrome hardware, and acacia binding. Other notable features include a solid mahogany/ebony/mahogany neck, 19-fret rosewood/pau ferro fingerboard, pau ferro/ebony bridge, and a set of classical tuners.
