Classical guitars were first introduced into Hofner`s catalog back in 1930. Since then, nylon-stringers have been among the brand`s main pillars. Classical guitars range has several series spanning from beginner to custom shop level. Limited Editions series deals with guitars made with exotic tonewoods. There are currently four models, all hand-made in Hagenau, Germany. HLE-MEF Ltd Edition comes in with a non-cutaway body, traditional 12th fret dovetail joint, 25-3/5" scale, high-quality hardware, and vintage styling. Main construction features include quilted ash back & sides, A+-grade spruce soundboard, solid mahogany neck (classical profile, gloss finish), 19-fret rosewood fingerboard (1.96" synthetic bone string nut, flat radius, side dot inlays), fixed rosewood bridge, and classical tuning pegs. HLE-MEF is only available in natural color.
