Sofia S58C is one of the larger models in it`s series and it comes with a 58centimeter scale. When translated into inches, it is 22-4/5", which already enters the tenor guitar area. However, this nylon-stringer is made with full set of six strings, instead of four. This classical guitar comes with body and neck specs identical to the rest of the series. It has a body made of sapele and cedar. Sapele, which has very similar tonal characteristics to mahogany, is used for the back and side panels of the body. On the other side, cedar is the number one option for nylon-stringer sound boards. This body is paired with a neck made of mahogany. Both the classical bridge and 19-fret fingerboard are made of rosewood.
