FF Sabicas comes from the Sabicas series of nylon-stringed classics and flamenco guitars made by Rodriguez. This one is a flamenco guitar, or in Spanish, flamenca. Some subtle construction differences divide the flamencas from classics. Fretware, lower action and some minor construction variations add up to flamencas` distinctive sound. This one is made of cypress back and sides with spruce sound board on top. As opposed to the rest of the series, there is no cedar sound board option for this one. Top is decorated with Indian rosewood binding and classical rosette. There is no pickguard installed and there are no electronics, as well. Bridge section sports a standard-shaped bridge made of rosewood. Neck is made of cedar and has a traditionally positioned dovetail joint. 19-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
