Macizas series is the line of nylon-stringed classicals that ranks above the Caballero and Laminadas, thus representing the entrance into the higher ends of Rodriguez catalog. However, models of this series have E and F marks in their names. Besides them, there are Manuel Rodriguez Jr and Sr signatures. This particular model is Macizas FG and it comes as a non-cutaway and a fully acoustic nylon-string guitar. Rosewood is used for the bridge and body. Indian rosewood comprises the top binding and fingerboard. Finally, cedar is used for the sound board and neck. Body of this model is, as well as the neck , finished in high gloss and natural is the only color scheme available. Hardware on this model is plated in gold and it sports a standard classical guitar scale length.
