GC22C is one of two GC22 models available on the GC series` roster. Like its spruce-top companion (GC22S), GC22C costs $1,600.00 and is among the most affordable representatives of its series (the most expensive GC82 models have $18,000.00 price tags and are hand-made in Japan). Nonetheless, it is a hand-made nylon-stringer (made in China), with fully acoustic construction, premium hardware, and non-cutaway body (solid rosewood back & sides, solid American cedar top, black binding, classical rosette). Natural (w/gloss finish, gold-plated hardware, classical styling) is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid African mahogany neck (classical profile, 12th fret dovetail joint, 3+3 headstock), ebony fingerboard (flat radius, classical frets, side dot inlays), rosewood bridge, and classical tuning pegs.
