Tier 12 is the lowest tier of the currently available GC series lineup. All of the models (including the "twelves") are hand-made in workshops in Japan and China (guess three times where the GC12 models are made). The GC12S costs $1,250.00 (MSRP) and offers fantastic price/quality ratio. Main features include a non-cutaway body (solid mahogany back & sides, solid spruce top, black binding, classical rosette), 12th fret dovetail joint, standard 25-3/5" scale, and electronics-free construction. There`s only one color option available - Natural (gloss finish, gold-plated hardware). Other notable features include a solid African mahogany neck (classical profile, 3+3 headstock), 19-fret ebony fingerboard (flat radius, classical frets, 2.05" urea nut), classical bridge made of rosewood, and classical tuning pegs.
