GC series is a home to Yamaha`s most expensive and most exclusive classical guitars. All of the models (from GC12 to GC82) are hand-made in workshops in Japan and China (of course, the most expensive models are made in Japan). GC12C is, along with GC12S, the most affordable representative of the series, with MSRP set at $1,250.00. Main features include a standard-sized classical body (solid mahogany back & sides, solid American cedar top), 12th fret dovetail neck joint, 25-3/5" scale, and completely acoustic construction (no electronics). Natural is the only available color option. Other important appointments include an African mahogany neck (classical profile, 3+3 headstock), ebony fingerboard (19 classical frets, side dot inlays, 2.05" urea nut), fixed rosewood bridge, and classical tuners.
