Some of the models have one middle-positioned pickup, while the others feature the standard dual pickup layout. SB-1000B belongs to the latter group. Like the majority of its siblings, SB-1000B comes in with an offset body (made of ash wings and 7-piece neck running through the center), neck-through-body construction, Aria electronics (MB-1E dual coil pickups w/master vol, master tone, attack mode selector, bypass switch), and modern styling. The color palette includes Oak, Paduak Red, and See-Through Black options. Other notable features include a seven-piece maple/walnut neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard, fixed top-load bridge, and die-cast tuners.
