AXL is one of the intermediate US brands of electric stringed instruments. Their catalog is made up of hard rock and metal-oriented models and series of electric guitars and electric basses. Design-wise, AXL can be viewed as a mix between Fender and B.C. Rich elements with AXL`s own styling and design signature. Badwater is the main series in both guitar and bass catalogs and the bass side of the range is fit with three models. Badwater Bass is a simple, straightforward and utterly reliable four-stringed bass with a modernized Precision Bass design. Alder body features flat-top design, bolt on construction, four-saddled bridge, big white pickguard (Precision-styled) and a middle-positioned P pickup. Maple neck is bolted to the body and features a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
