RB-ZW5 is the five-string variant of the RB-ZW4 electric bass. It is a new model, introduced along with the starting lineup of the electric bass segment from Boulder Creek. It comes with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and zebra wood top. Body features modern design and stripped down, but very elegant appearance. Neck joint is a bolt-on one. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features series standard contour and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Abalone dots mark the frets. Pickups on this model are soapbar single-coils in both the bridge and neck positions. Behind them Boulder Creek installs a standard hardtail bridge with top-load construction and black plating. The rest of the hardware is black, as well.
