CSR-55A is one of several electric basses with Cruzer badge. It is a clone of the modern Ibanez and Jackson axes and costs a fraction of their price. Solid and double-cut body comes with a symmetrical waist and flat top. It is made of basswood and is paired with a maple neck through a bolt-on joint. On the top, there is a five-saddled hardtail bridge with top-load construction. In front of the black-clad bridge, Cruzer installs a pair of humbucking pickups with a pretty much regular controls unit. Master volume, balance knob and a two-band equalizer (bass and treble knobs) are featured in it. Bolted maple neck is fit with a reasonably comfortable profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
