IC4W is largely the same as IC4, but with a Claro walnut top. Other than that, specs are pretty similar. IC4W comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder back and Claro walnut top. The top is carved, finished in high gloss and free of pickguards. In the bridge compartment Carvin installs a hipshot bridge with four saddles and string-through construction. In the pickups area, a pair of single-coil soapbar pickups is installed. These J/J configured pickups are controlled through master volume, pickup pan knob, stacked bass and stacked treble knobs. The neck is made of maple and it comes with through-body construction. It is topped with an ebony fingerboard. It comes with a set of 24 medium jumbo frets, no position inlays and 1.60" wide string nut.
