LB70A Anniversary was first released in 1996 to celebrate Carvin`s 50th anniversary in guitar business. It belongs to the LB series of solid-bodied electric basses with neck-through-body construction. LB70A kicks off with a body made of alder back and top quality flamed maple top. Besides this one, Carvin offers a wide selection of optional top wood covers. All come finished in high gloss. Bridge on this model is a hipshot with string-through construction and four adjustable saddles. Pickups on this model come in H/S formation and have master volume, pickup blend, bass, mid and sweep control knobs. Neck is made of maple and it runs through the entire length of the body. Ebony is principal fingerboard material, though Carvin offers maple and rosewood alternatives.
