LB75A is an anniversary model first issued in 1996 to celebrate Carvin`s half a century in business. It belongs to the LB series of basses with neck-through-body construction. LB75A features a solid, double cutaway body made of alder back and flamed maple top. The top is flat and finished in high gloss lacquer. Other top options, such as quilted maple are also available. Hipshot is the bridge of choice by Carvin, and it comes with string-through construction. Pickups are installed in H/S pattern and they are controlled with master volume, pickup pan knob, stacked bass, stacked mid and sweep knobs. Neck is made of maple and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. IT is equipped with 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays and 1.75" wide string nut.
