Conklin is one of the smaller electric instruments brand from Canada. Both electric guitars and basses are featured in the Conklin catalog. They offer a somewhat limited choice of guitars and basses, because the main source of revenue for Conklin are custom made instruments. Club series, however, is the main line in both the guitar and bass departments. In the bass section, Club series is equipped with four models. Club 6 String Bass is, contrary to one might believe, not the biggest and largest model in the series. This title goes to the Club 7 String. Club 6 is a solid and double-cut bass made of ash body and maple/bubinga neck. Active single-coil pickups and chrome-plated six-saddle bridge are installed on the body top. 24-fret bubinga fingerboard completes the specs list.
