Tour series is one of three lines of electric bass guitars made by Conklin. There`s a total of eleven pretty uniform models distributed among these three series, as the vast majority of Conklin`s resources goes to the production of highly customized guitars and basses. Tour series, however, has four models (four, five, six and seven-string models are included). Tour 5 String is a solid and double-cut bass with an ash body and maple neck (one of the most popular combinations of tonewoods in the industry). On the top of the body, Conklin installs a pair of single-coiled pickups, five-saddled hardtail bridge and a big vintage-styled pickguard. Maple neck is wide, slim and comfortable. It is topped with a series standard 24-fret bubinga fingerboard.
