Cort`s Curbow series is a line of super modern electric basses with advanced design and hardware. Playability of the Curbow models benefits largely form the cutaway design. Te augmented upper cutaway takes care of the balance, while the small lower cutaway and it`s super deep contour give the player unprecedented reach all the way up to 27th fret. That`s right, Curbow models count up to 27, instead of the standard 24 frets. This is the reason all standard Curbow models come with a lone middle-positioned humbucking pickup. Curbow 5 is the standard five stringer of the series. It comes with a luthite body and a bolted maple neck. Neck on this model is fit with a standard C contour in the back and a 27-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
