Curbow series is, by far, the most advanced series in Cort catalog. It`s models feature the hyper modern design, which plays with the traditional understanding of instrument balance on a completely new level. These models are, essentially, solid-bodied and have double-cut design. Upper horns on these models are massive, while the lower ones are minuscule and combined with super deep cutaways. This type of design dictates that Curbow models only have one pickup, each. Curbow 4 Fretless is fit with an active humbucker with an extensive controls unit, which gives the player a wide range of tonal possibilities. Body of this model is made of luthite and it is paired with a C-shaped maple neck. On the top of the neck, Cort installs a fretless ebony fingerboard.
